If you have to manage a material/a part that is under supplier’s warranty, here is the procedure to follow :
- Create a new sales document :
You must specify in the fields :
- Type of document : Workshop Service
- Type of intervention : Workshop
- Nature intervention : Warranty

A new grey "Supplier warranty" insert appears in the top left-hand corner of the sales document :
In the “Products” section, you can add parts, labor, etc.
With the “Supplier Warranty” button at the top, you can change the state of the request :

Spread the charge :
To distribute the support, you have to tick the concerned lines, then appears at the top, a new banner with different buttons :
Clicking on the "Distribute charge" pie chart button allows you to distribute the support.
This can also be accessed by clicking on the "Distribute parts" or "Distribute labor" links in the "Supplier warranty" line :
There are several levels for distributing the charge and specifying to whom it is billed :
- IT : Internet transfer
- Supplier warranty
- Customer
Enter the required information in the window :
The information entered for the internal transfer now appear in the “Internal Transfer” section and we can see the distribution detail by clicking on the icon in front of the “Line linked to a supplier warranty” link :

Modification
You can also use the CI and FRN buttons to move lines between blocks and make modifications.
As before, select the desired line and click on the "CI/FRN" button at the top.
A window appears in which you can select Internal transfer or Supplier warranty :
You can then :
- make a delivery note
- make supplier warranty credit note
- make a transfer invoice
Those documents are created in an usual way, using the “Generate a document” button at the top :
The logistic forms and invoices will also appear in theer “Logistic” and “Invoices > Internal transf, supplier credit note” section.
As soon as all the lines are invoiced (in product, transfer or warranty), it is no longer possible to change the distribution.
In the Sales > Warranties tracking menu : you can find the different warranties that have been created :
