🔎 1. Perform a search in blgCloud
The general search is directly accessible from the search bar at the top of blgCloud, regardless of the module you are currently using.
You therefore do not need to be in the Articles module to search for an article, or in the Equipment module to search for equipment: the search is performed globally across blgCloud.
Simply enter the information you have in the search field. Depending on the item you are looking for, this could be:
- an item reference or item description;
- a serial number or equipment number for equipment;
- information that can be used to identify a contract;
- information related to a document.
As you type, blgCloud displays the results matching your search.
💡 Good to know: only items for which you have view permissions can appear in your search results.
Enter the reference TVH/13234094 in the ERP general search located at the top of your screen.
📋 2. Refine your search using filters
The results matching your search are displayed directly below the search bar.
Depending on the type of item you are looking for, blgCloud displays the main information needed to identify it and select the correct result.
For example, for an article, you may find its reference, description, and various details such as purchase price, selling price, or available stock.
For equipment, the search can help you identify it using its serial number or equipment number.
Once you have identified the item you are looking for, click directly on the result to access its record and view all the available information.
📋 3. View your search results
Here are some examples of searches using the general search:
As soon as you start entering your search, blgCloud automatically displays the matching results.
In this example, entering “tract” allows you to find the different results containing this term.
The results may correspond to different types of items. The filters available at the top of the window allow you to narrow down your search, for example here by selecting Equipment.
In another example, entering “Client test” allows you to find the different items associated with this customer.
By then selecting the Invoice filter, only the results corresponding to invoices associated with this search are displayed.
In this example, entering the serial number “151515” allows you to directly find the corresponding equipment and access its record.
