🔒 Network Access

To function properly, blgCloud uses exclusively:

• the HTTPS protocol (443/TCP port);
• DNS name resolution (53/UDP port).

These requirements apply to both the web version and the mobile application.

⚠️ Some additional services may nevertheless require specific network access, including:

• importing data from an old software system;
• using a BLGCloud SFTP server to transfer files.

In this case, any additional network requirements will be communicated depending on the service being used.

📶 Connection Quality

To ensure optimal use of blgCloud, it is important to have a reliable Internet connection, regardless of its speed.

An unstable connection — packet loss, frequent disconnections, high latency, etc. — may affect the user experience.

📊 The table below provides recommended connection speeds based on the number of users connected simultaneously.

💡 We recommend regularly checking the actual performance of your connection using a tool such as Speedtest.

The quality of your internal network is also important: an excellent Internet connection combined with poor-quality Wi-Fi can cause slowdowns.

📧 Sending Emails

Sending emails via blgCloud requires the use of an SMTP server to send emails using the user's email address.

A generic blgCloud address (no-reply@blgcloud.net) may also be provided.

🌐 Browser

To ensure optimal performance of blgCloud, we recommend using the latest versions of:

✅ Chromium
✅ Microsoft Edge

Remember to keep your browser up to date through automatic updates.

Some extensions may cause slowdowns or malfunctions. We recommend disabling extensions that modify web page content.

blgCloud is compatible with operating systems capable of running a supported, up-to-date browser:

⚙️ Recommended Configuration

For comfortable use of blgCloud and your other business tools:

• Processor: minimum 2 cores, 4 cores recommended;
• RAM: minimum 6 GB (4 GB for ChromeOS), 8 GB recommended;
• Graphics card: no dedicated graphics card required, but hardware graphics acceleration must be enabled.

💡 Computers less than 5 years old generally meet these requirements.

✅ Recommended resolution: Full HD (1920 × 1080)

💡 Using a second monitor can improve your working comfort.

⚠️ A horizontal resolution below 1280 px is not supported.

📲 Device

Android

• A mid-range smartphone less than 4 years old is recommended.

• No specific hardware requirements.
