You wish to create a cash register from blg, here are the steps to follow :

1. How do I create a cash register ?
In the Invoice module, go to the left-hand menu Cash register Opening :
Then click on the calculator icon to create a cash register :
You will access this window below :
Click on Create a cash register and add the information :
- The name : must be unique
- Company : Attach the cash register to the desired company.
Then click on the “+” :
Add the requested information :
- Name : Name of the cash register to be managed, here Cash Register N°1 for example.
- The amount at the opening of your cash register : Amount €100 for example
It is also possible to replace the amount with the contents of the cash register, and the amount will be automatically added.

Then click on Save.
Please note :
- It is not possible to delete a cash register.
- It is not possible to change the amount after creating it, so it's best to close it and reopen a new one.

2. How do I close a cash register ?
The cash register closing is done from the cash register list :
Enter the Closing amount.
Example :
Then click on Save.
When you click on OK the cash register summary will be printable :
3 .How do I print my cash register summary after closing ?
You can access it again by clicking on the concerned cash register :
Example: I click on my cash register N°4
All that's left to do is click on Generate PDF summary to retrieve your cash register summary.
4. How do I perform an additional cash register operation ?
If you click on one of your cash registers, you can subtract an external item.
Example : a temporary cash outflow for a purchase of office supplies.
Click on one of your cash registers.
You can enter an amount and a wording as below :
When you close your cash register, by clicking on Close, blg will remind you that an operation has been performed with Other operations :
5. How do I add a cash register profile to the Quick Sales ?
Go to the Sales module, then left-hand menu Quick sales profile.
Then click on the "+" :
Create your cash register profile, adding all the desired information :
Title, etc., then Save.
So when you make a quick sale, you'll find Cash register at the top like your other profiles and can use it :
