When a machine breaks down, it may be necessary to assign another machine to the rental contract.
1- On the contract, I click on Reassign :
2- I choose the end date of the replaced equipment to be the date of the breakdown and for the equipment of replacement the beginning date corresponds to its delivery date.
Warning, the end date of the replaced equipment must precede the start date of the replacement equipment. If the exchange takes place the same day, enter the last full day as the end date of the outgoing equipment (the day before the exchange).
In the example below, the exchange takes place on 01/12. I enter the 01/11 as end date, and the 01/12 as the entry date of the replacement equipment.
3. I make an entry order and a check-in for the machine to replace.
4. I make an outgoing form and a check out for the replacement machine.
