1. Internet connection
Network Access
The blg software exclusively uses HTTPS (port 443/TCP) and DNS resolution (port 53/UDP) to function, whether on the web or mobile application.
Outgoing HTTPS connections must therefore be allowed without filtering (including the use of WebSocket protocol and HTTP/2).
The use of blg does not require the opening of incoming connections.
Additional services related to blg (such as data import from your previous software or using an account on a blg SFTP server for file transfer) may require the opening of additional ports.
Internet connection
Regardless of its speed, a reliable internet connection (no packet loss or unexpected disconnections) is important for optimal use of the blg software.
The following table provides our recommendations for bandwidth based on the number of connected users. Depending on how the software is used, bandwidth consumption can vary significantly. For example, file usage, viewing, or sending photos are particularly bandwidth-intensive.
Be sure to check the actual speeds using tools like Speedtest. The internal network must also be considered: a quality internet connection combined with poor Wi-Fi will not yield good results.

Email sending
Sending emails via the blg software requires the use of an SMTP server to be sent with the user's email address.
A generic blg email address (no-reply@blgcloud.net) may also be provided.
2. Prerequisites - blg web application
Browser
The blg web application operates on the latest three versions of Chrome, Chromium, and Edge browsers. Keeping your browser up-to-date (through automatic updates) is therefore crucial.
Firefox is functional but performs less optimally, its use is not recommended.
Safari and Internet Explorer lack some essential features for using blg and are therefore not supported.
Only the full, native versions of browsers are supported. Specifically, Chrome and Firefox browsers on iOS (iPad and iPhone) use the Safari engine and are thus not supported. macOS is not affected.
Some browser extensions can cause significant slowdowns by continuously analyzing the page or even lead to malfunctions. We do not support the use of extensions that modify page content.
Operating System
Operating system support is constrained by browser support: if one of the supported browsers works and is maintained on your operating system, then it is compatible.
Therefore, Windows, macOS, Android, ChromeOS, and Linux operating systems are supported.
Machine Power
The recommended power takes into account multi-tab usage of blg as well as the use of other business services.
These recommendations correspond to a mid-range computer less than 5 years old.
Processor
Number of Cores: Minimum 2 cores, 4 cores recommended
Single Thread Power (PassMark score): Above 1800 points (minimum) or above 2300 points (recommended)
RAM
Minimum: 6 GB, except for ChromeOS (4 GB)
Recommended: 8 GB
Graphics Card
A dedicated graphics card is not required; integrated graphics cards in processors are sufficient.
The workstation must support hardware acceleration to be compatible. In particular, thin clients may not support hardware acceleration, which can lead to slow display and significant stuttering.
Display
A Full HD screen is recommended for using the blg web app. Using a second monitor can improve productivity for some setups.
Using screens that are not Full HD may cause display issues and lead to decreased productivity due to the horizontal scroll bars that may appear.
Screens with a horizontal resolution of less than 1280 pixels are not supported.
3. Prerequisites - mobile application
Hardware Requirements
Android: Mid-range phone less than 4 years old
iPhone: No specific hardware constraints
The blg mobile application works with the latest four major versions of Android and the two latest major versions of iOS, provided that all system applications on the smartphone/tablet are up-to-date.
Automatic updates for the blg application must be enabled.
On Android, the Play Store must be active, and automatic updates must be enabled.
